How Was Slavery Inhumane?1. The slave catchersa. Went to look for the slaves using guns and knives to catch the slaves. b. When they found a slave they would use chains to tie them up. The chains were clipped at the neck and feet. c. When they saw Kunta Kinte they tried to attack him with a knife and used nets to catch him. d. On the boat they made the slaves lie down and chained them up. e. Each slave was lying next to another black slave. (Picture shown) f. When the slaves were starting to smell, the slave catchers would take them outside for exercise and then took some salt water from the ocean and tossed it on them. g. When the black slaves were starting to attack the white men the white men were using cannons to hit the slaves with. h. When the slaves arrived, and they had some sort of infection on them the white men would use this sort of grease oil and patch it up. i. To make a good impression on those who were buying the slaves they would spray cold water on the black slaves to make them look clean. j. When the slaves were going to be sold off, they kept them in a cage. k. When they brought the slaves out to the buyers they would hold the slaves by the chains. l.
